So. We have decided on the location and date. We have booked the wedding planner and have picked the beach. We originally thought it would be fun to get married on the same day that Matt proposed, but with our tight schedule we have decided to have the ceremony a little earlier so that we can have some time off together afterwards.

Due to Matt's schedule, we can't leave Vancouver until August 18. After some discussion with the wedding planner, we decided to have the wedding on a Friday. August 20, 2010 to be exact. Our planner recommended not having it on a Saturday because it would be especially busy. So we decided on a Friday so that people could either arrive the weekend before and chill out and then leave on the following weekend or arrive for a long weekend on the Thursday night preceding the ceremony.









I have been trying to decide where to have a dinner or get together after the ceremony. Its hard to make any decisions now because we don't really have any idea of how many people will actually make the trip. There are some really gorgeous places on Kauai to have dinners and parties so its been slightly hard to make a final decision.

We have however decided on the invitations and if we can figure out everything this week we can get start making the this weekend. Nothing like a little craft time for Matt and I to bond over. I will have to hide the computer so that he will not be distracted....
